The Falcon and The Winter Soldier: 5 Most Heroic MCU Sam Wilson Scenes (& 5 Fans Hope To See In The Disney+ Show)

Sam Wilson is back in the exciting first trailer for The Falcon And The Winter Soldierand it’s clear he’s going to involved in some major action sequences. The Falcon has been part of some of the best fights in the MCU (at this point), and there are even more from the comics that would be great to see on the big or small screen.

Sam’s history in the comics as Falcon and Captain America provides a lot of fodder for potential fight scenes in The Falcon And The Winter Soldier. Perhaps, if the series continues or Sam shows up in future MCU installments, the fans will have a chance to see them unfold on-screen as well.

Sam Wilson is at the heart of many of the best action sequences in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. One of them was his face-off with Brock Rumlow, the S.H.I.E.L.D./HYDRA agent who would go on to become Crossbones. Sam is forced to fight Rumlow without his jetpack and gives as good as he gets. However, they both have to flee when a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier crashes into the building. Sam jumps out the window to safety, but Rumlow gets caught in the collapse.

The X-Men will appear in the MCU at some point, especially when fans consider the arrival of the Fox X-Men Quicksilver in WandaVision. One of the biggest comic storylines of the 2010s was the Avengers Vs. X-Men, which pit the two major Marvel teams against each other. Sam was seen to play a key role in this fight.

In X-Men Legacy #266, Sam joined the other Avengers in talking the mutant students at the “Jean Grey School” out of joining the X-Men against the Avengers. Things get out of hand and Falcon battles against several X-Men, including Rogue.

One of the best action sequences in Avengers: Infinity War and really the entire MCU was the Battle of Wakanda. Sam played a major role in defending both the country and The Vision from the forces of Thanos. He provided aerial support, along with War Machine, dropping bombs and shooting bullets at the hordes of Outriders trying to penetrate the defense shield. His efforts were valiant, but sadly he and many others were snapped out of existence by Thanos at the end of the battle.
