Bravo’s reality series Real Housewives of New Jersey has had its fair share of housewives who provide good entertainment value through the years, and one of the most recent additions to the cast definitely delivers in that area. She is Jackie Goldschneider and she grew up on Staten Island, as the daughter of hard-working parents. Her father was from Brooklyn and her mother immigrated from Israel. Her mother eventually ran a software consulting business which became extremely successful.
When it was time for Jackie to choose what she wanted to do with her life, she decided on the law. Jackie attended Fordham University School of Law and became a lawyer for some time. Eventually, she met her husband Evan Goldschneider in a dive bar and the two went on to have children together. Jackie became a freelance journalist so she could spend as much time with her kids as possible. In 2018, Jackie joined The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast and made quite the splash, as she was often critical of Teresa Giudice’s relationship with her now-ex, Joe Giudice.
Now, in RHONJ season eleven, the drama between Teresa and Jackie has hit a boiling point. On the premiere episode, Teresa Giudice spread rumors at Evan’s birthday party that he was cheating on Jackie. Starting gossip is salacious, especially when the chatter happens at a person’s special event. Jackie sat down with Teresa and used a misguided analogy about Teresa’s daughter Gia, “Well, I heard Gia snorts coke in the bathroom at parties,” as a way to demonstrate how much rumors can hurt reputations.
This did not work out well for Jackie because Teresa understood that someone was speaking ill of her daughter. Gia Giudice doesn’t buy the analogy either. It did not dawn on Teresa that Jackie was trying to illustrate a point about spreading slanderous rumors. Jackie was also trying to explain how much damage gossip causes. Jackie ended up putting fuel on a feud that may very well last for the entire season.
So far, Teresa has no plans to apologize, and Jackie is also standing her ground. Being a lawyer, Jackie is no stranger to arguing her position and fully intends to win any debate that she engages in. Later on, Jackie decided to skip a cast trip to the lake so that she could be with her family. For sure, her issues with Teresa will be documented and shared on The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 11.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Wednesdays at 9 pm EST on Bravo.
