The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Kelly Dodd is trying her best to debunk multiple firing rumors with a tweet about the new and upcoming season. There have been numerous opinions that the brash housewife will not be given a contract due to too much backlash.
The Real Housewives of Orange County’s resident mean girl is fanning the flames of the Bravo firing rumors after updating her Instagram bio. Dodd has had no remorse for the sentiments she has said as she spoke out about the worldwide pandemic. Viewers learned she had been let go by her beverage business. This comes after a friend used a white power symbol. Dodd has not had the kindest mentality toward anyone on her show. Many feel the whole series should get a reboot with the idea of possibly bringing back the OG’s from season 1.
During another Twitter rant, Dodd once again mentioned the rumor that she had been let go by the network. The 45-year-old reality star took to social media writing, “It’s actually kinda funny… I’ve heard these rumors every year for the last five years. Looking forward to my sixth season #RHOC 16!”

Fans and Bravo were not impressed that the Newport Beach resident had jumped the gun and assumed she had been invited back. No contracts have gone out to any housewives, so many feel Dodd is trying to force Bravo’s hand at rehiring her. Dodd has been under a microscope lately after sporting a “Drunk Wives Matter” hat at her bridal shower. She also has been spreading fake news about the coronavirus claiming it was “God’s way of thinning the herd.” While she has apologized on her social media, saying, “What I meant was, ‘Do these pandemics happen because it’s God’s way?’ I’m not God. I’m not insensitive.” But most viewers feel that is exactly what she is, insensitive to the plight of millions who have suffered, leaving them to question is this who Bravo wants representing them?
The Bravo network made it clear that they have not hired nor fired Dodd for the next season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. But at the beginning of the New Year, Andy Cohen dropped a major hint when he replied to a fan’s comment as they begged for a recast, saying, “I think. you mean reboot.” Only time will tell if the network decided to shake it up or leave the cast as they are.
