Persona 5 Strikers Features Original Voice Of Phone Companion Siri
Persona 5 Strikers has now been released in the west, and the voice cast has been revealed to include the voice of the iPhone companion Siri. This information comes hot on the full release of Persona 5 Strikers, which was released in the US a year after it came out in Japan.
This is the second Persona title to release on the PC after Persona 4 Golden released on Steam last year. Persona 4 Golden became one of Steam’s biggest hits after it released on the platform, which led to Atlus stating that more ports of Atlus classics would be on the way. Persona 5 Strikers is the second major Persona installment to release on Steam, and while it isn’t Persona 5 or Persona 5 Royal, it’s still a strong step towards getting Persona onto other systems such as PC and the Switch. Persona 3 Portable was also previously leaked on Steam’s database, so that makes it a possibility as well.
The voice of Siri itself, Susan Bennett, has confirmed that she does voice EMMA in Persona 5 Strikers. In the game, EMMA acts just like Siri does in the real world, operating from the player’s smartphone to make life much more convenient for the cast. In the game’s prologue, it’s able to make a list of recommended items for camping, as well as finding nearby stores and making schedules. With the capabilities EMMA can do, it’s therefore extremely fitting that the voice for the virtual assistant is that of the original phone assistant, Siri.

The voice cast of Persona 5 is a tight one. Several characters in the game’s cast has come back for other projects that crossover with Persona 5, such as in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or in Dragalia Lost. Many of the actors are also known for doing voice work in a variety of anime, such as the voice of Ryuji, Max Mittelman, who voices Saitama in One-Punch Man. So seeing them return for Persona 5 Strikers as well as Persona 5 Royal is unsurprising, yet pleasing to many fans.
Having the actress of Siri be included in that cast is surprising to be sure, yet still the perfect choice for a virtual phone assistant. Persona 5 Strikers expands more on the metaverse compared to Persona 5, so having a new type of virtual assistant is natural. Players can listen to EMMA for themselves and learn her role in the story by playing Persona 5 Strikers, which is out now on PS4, Switch, and PC.
