90 Day Fiance: The Other Way has provided fans with a sneak peek in the lead up to season 2. And by the looks of things, 30-year-old Jihoon Lee still hasn’t set his sights on a solid career. 23-year-old Deavan Clegg is set to move from Salt Lake City, Utah to Seoul, South Korea permanently in season 2, but during the preview of the series, she expresses concern to Jihoon over who is going to be providing for their family.
Season 1 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way introduced viewers to Jihoon and Deavan. Jihoon and his parents flew over to Las Vegas to spend time with Deavan and her daughter Drascilla. After spending three and a half weeks together previously, Deavan and Jihoon fell pregnant, and so, the pair were keen to get married and moved over to Seoul as a family of four
The season 2 preview sees Deavan living in the USA alone with her two children, Drascilla and Taeyang. Speaking to her other half via video call, Jihoon says, “I got a new job” and when Deavan asks, “How much does it pay?” Jihoon worryingly replies, “I don’t know.” Check out the full clip below:
Money for Jihoon and Deavan looks to always have been a topic of argument. During season 1, Jihoon admitted to having debts and in the season 2 sneak peek, Deavan said that she’s the only one financially supporting the family while also caring for their two young children. Jihoon and Deavan had a huge argument in the previous series when Jihoon quit his job as a used cell phone salesman.
Jihoon and Deavan met on a dating app, and their relationship has progressed extremely quickly given that they found out they were expecting a baby together within just a few weeks into their meeting. Their son, Taeyang was born on April 10th, 2019. When Deavan was pregnant with Teayang, Jihoon wasn’t the best at holding down a job. Now, by the looks of things, Deavan’s about to endure a whole lot more stress in season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. Before season 2, the pair have been co-parenting from two different countries. However, Deavan did have to stay in Seoul longer than expected due to Coronavirus in 2020. Permanently living together as a family is probably long overdue. And just when Deavan is most likely hoping for some of the weight to be lifted off her shoulders in the move over to Seoul, it seems that her husband isn’t quite holding it down on the job front.
